Stephen is 3 years old now. He doesn't need speech therapy any
more, but he is getting the other therapy he needs through the public
school. He goes 5 days a week just like regular preschool. He rides a
bus and carries his backpack and lunch with him every day. He's so cute
getting on that great big bus! I'll admit-- I cried my eyes out the first time
they drove away with my baby.
He's doing pretty well in school. So far they've worked on the letter
"S" and the color yellow. But the part *I* like the most-- they're working on
potty training with him. We had worked with Stephen already, but he just
seemed slow on the transition. I don't know if it's just the extra help with
the training or if it's the fact that he gets to see other little boys and girls
the same age who are independent. Whatever it is, it's working! I'm
hoping for fully trained by the end of the month. :)
